Cyclone
Cyclone is a rune effect in Sweeping Wind, a Spirit-spending Monk skill.
This rune effect adds powerful lightning damage effects to the skill that can deal effective AoE damage.

Development
Prior to the February 2012 skill and rune system overhaul, this effect was provided by the Obsidian Rune runestone which granted the following effect:

[e] While your vortex is at the maximum stack count, every third hit spawns a lightning tornado that periodically shocks nearby enemies for 66% weapon damage as Lightning damage. Each spawned lightning tornado lasts 3 seconds. |
