Tap the Source
Tap the Source is a rune effect in Arcane Orb, a high cost, high damage Offensive Wizard skill.
This rune effect reduces the cost of the skill considerably, from 35 to 20 Arcane Power. This allows for a considerable increase in output, especially as quickly as Arcane Power regenerates. While the base skill will completely empty a Wizard's bulb with 3 shots, (3 x 35 = 105, but about 10 AP regenerates between the cast of the first and the third), a Wizard can cast 6 of these in rapid succession.
This can will deal huge damage to a single target or small group, or the multiple orbs in succession can be used to blast through a pack of enemies, with each successive orb taking out another few monsters, while the next flies over their purple corpses and hits the next enemies in the path.
