Death is Life is a rune effect in Grasp of the Dead, is a Support Witch Doctor skill that damages and slows enemies.

This rune effect causes enemies who die while affected by GotD to have a 5% chance to produce a health globe. It's not clear how this is calculated, whether it's a flat 5% chance, or if it's +5% to the monster's existing chance. All enemies have some % chance to drop a health orb when they die. Some elites always drop one, while the odds vary between regular monsters. In any event, more health globes will appear over time with this rune effect.

Since Witch Doctor's often do not need the healing from globes, this can be more useful as a source of healing for the WD's pets or for his party members, or as a way to help on mana refills, since various skills can enable him to turn health globes into mana regeneration.
