Acrobatics is a rune effect in Vault, a Discipline-spending escape/movement Demon Hunter skill.

This rune effect removes the discipline cost entirely, but adds a 15 second cooldown before the next Vault can be used.

This rune effect could save a player a huge amount of Discipline over the long run, as Dodge is the biggest Discipline cost for most Demon Hunters. But having to wait up to 15 seconds for the next Vault seems like certain suicide on higher difficulty levels.

Development

Prior to the skill revision in February 2012, this rune effect was enabled by a Obsidian Rune. It was a very different effect, since the distance of Vault was modified by skill levels, then by skill runes. In the final game all Vaults are the same distance, so an entirely new effect had to be created. This is what the skill rune used to do though, with a level 7 runestone.
