Passive skills replaced Traits late in game development. Many passives are very similar to previously-known traits, with the main changes coming in changes to the character level requirements, and the fact that passives are on/off, rather than using 1, 3, or 5 points, as Traits did. Characters only get three passive in total, with one slot opening up for a passive at Clvl 10, 20, and 30.


Wizard Passives

This list is tentative and based on the beta build. Expect further refinements in the final game.

Blur
Reduces melee damage taken by 20%.

  • Enabled at level: 10


Drain Power
All basic attacks provide 10 Arcane Power.

  • Enabled at level: 10


Quickening
Increase casting speed by 10%.

  • Enabled at level: 10


Flight Before Fight
Increases run speed by 5% when the Wizard is blocked in melee.

  • Enabled at level: 13


Glass Cannon
Increases damage dealt by 20%, but reduces armor by 20%.

  • Enabled at level: 13


Aggression
Increases attack by 20%.

  • Enabled at level: 15


Superior Skill
Increases precision by 20%.

  • Enabled at level: 15


Expert Defense
Increases defense by 20%.

  • Enabled at level: 17


Astral Presence
Increases maximum Arcane Power by 20%.

  • Enabled at level: 29


Black Ice
Damage dealt to frozen targets is increased by 20%.

  • Enabled at level: 20


Temporal Flux
When an enemy takes damage from an Arcane skill, its speed is reduced by 24% for 4 seconds.

  • Enabled at level: 23


Piercing Attacks
Reduces the magical resistances of enemies by 20%.

  • Enabled at level: 25


Temporal Shift
Reduces cooldowns of skills by 10%.

  • Enabled at level: 26


Unstable Energy
When under 20% hit points, the next skill knocks back all targets it hits. Can happen once every 90 seconds.

  • Enabled at level: 28


Knowledge is Power
Passive skill still being worked on. Used to provide 25% extra Willpower (a stat that is not included in the game anymore)
