Energy Tap is a rune effect in [Energy Armor]], a Utility Wizard skill.

  • This is an Armor spell. Only one Armor spell can be active at a time.

This rune effect entirely reverses the usual Energy Shield effect, adding (instead of subtracting) 20 points from the maximum Arcane Power. The default is 100 AP, so this will take a Wizard up to 120, barring other equipment or skills modifying that figure.
