Development

Shadow Power was first seen at the July 2011 Press Event, where it was a level 19 skill. Unfortunately, no information about the skill's function was available.

Beta

When the beta started in September 2011, Shadow Power was changed to level 12. The skill system was once again overhauled for the Beta Patch 13, and Shadow Power was classified as a Shadow skill and moved way up to level 30. For Beta Patch 14, it was re-classified as a Defensive skill and dropped to level 16. Also, the "Shadow" category was replaced with "Hunting".
