Call of the Ancients is a Situational Barbarian skill unlocked at level 25. The Barbarian summons three ancient protectors to fight for him.
Background
The Barbarian's ancestors aid him by rejoining the battlefield.

The Council Rises | The Ancients inflict 275% weapon damage with each attack and have 175% additional armor. |

Madawc's Madness | Madawc gains the ability Seismic Slam which deals 205% of your weapon damage to enemies in an arc. |

Duty to the Clan | Increase duration to 85 seconds. |

Talic's Anger | Talic gains the ability Leap Attack which deals 360% of your weapon damage to enemies in the area of the leap. |
Note: Information is based on a level 60 character and rank 7 runestones.
Skill Design
This skill summons the three ancestors that the player was charged with fighting in act five of Lord of Destruction: Talic, Korlic and Madawc. They deal a percentage of the weapon damage that the Barbarian is capable of inflicting, presumably increasing with level. Bashiok had made a quick comment on the skill:
Synergies
- Synergies with Boon of Bul-Kathos passive skill, reducing the cooldown by 30 seconds.
Development
Call of the Ancients debuted at BlizzCon 2010, although it hasn't been seen in anything other than the skill pool. Skill tiers were removed for the July 2011 Press Event, and Call of the Ancients became a level 27 skill.
