Development

Familiar was added in BlizzCon 2010, presumably responding to some need of the Wizard. To add more potential damage, or to give the Wizard a way to attack while running or dodging?

Skill tiers were removed for the July 2011 Press Event, and Familiar became a level 27 skill.
