Provocation is a rune effect in Revenge, a situational Barbarian skill.

This rune effect increases the chance that Revenge will trigger to 30% from being hit by attacks. This is an odd choice for the highest level rune effect in the skill, since by Hell difficulty all but the most exquisitely-armored Barbarians will be getting hit perpetually during every encounter, which should make 15% more than enough. Prior to the February 2012 rune and skill system renovation, this effect was created by the Indigo Rune which granted the following effect:
