Toad of Hugeness is a rune effect in Plague of Toads, a Physical Realm Witch Doctor skill.

This skill summons a large, stationary toad. When summoned, the toad will use its tongue to attack a single enemy. The toad's tongue is large and can hit an enemy on the edge of the screen. When the attack hits, the enemy will be dragged towards the toad, swallowed, and take damage for 5 seconds.

Some enemies, such as Elites, cannot be swallowed. When an enemy cannot be swallowed, a DoT is applied to the enemy instead.

The swallow effect can be inconvenient in a party game, since no players can hit the enemy while it is inside of the toad. However, enemies affected by debuffs and Damage over Time effects will retain the debuff and the DoT effect while swallowed Toad of Hugeness, making it a good idea to apply these types of effects before using Toad of Hugeness.
