Gloom is a rune effect in Shadow Power, is a Discipline-spending Demon Hunter skill.

This rune effect reduces the damage taken by the Demon Hunter while this skill effect is active. This is widely-considered the best rune effect in this skill, since it can be a life-saver even aside from the life leech returned by the base skill function. Stacking the life leech and damage reduction produces a greater benefit than simply adding to the life leech alone, as with Blood Moon.
