Development[edit | edit source]

Beta[edit | edit source]

Cyclone Strike debuted in Diablo III very late in the development cycle (replacing the skill Lethal Decoy), and has not yet been seen in action. It was revealed by name and tooltip in the Beta Patch 8 (released in December 2011), where it was a level 7 skill. When the skill system was once again overhauled for the Beta Patch 13 in February 2012, Cyclone Strike was classified as a Focus skill and raised up to level 25. For Beta Patch 14, it was dropped back down to level 14.
