Blood Moon is a rune effect in Shadow Power, is a Discipline-spending Demon Hunter skill.

This rune effect increases the life leech from 20% to 30% for the 3 second duration of this effect.

Even with this much healing, the long term utility of this skill is open to doubt. A level 60 Demon Hunter with good equipment should be dealing DPS in the tens of thousands, and 30% of say, 20,000, is 6000 healing per second. That seems like a a huge amount of healing; 18,000 or so during the 3 seconds of Blood Moon. However that same Demon Hunter would likely have hit points in the 25,000+ range, and with Inferno monsters able to one or two-shot almost any character, a DH could utilize Blood Moon with perfect timing, unleash a massive assault upon a target, and still die from taking damage more quickly than the healing flows back.
