Diamond Skin is a Tier 4 skill unlocked for the Wizard at level 10, protecting the caster from incoming damage.

Diamond skin absorbs all types incoming damage. The skill expires after the duration runs out, or it absorbs the maximum possible damage. There is a substantial cool down before it can be recast, and the short duration makes it wise to cast just before damage is to be taken.

Runestone Effects

Wizards in the PvP Arena gained 50% more damage absorption from a Runestone in the 2010 Blizzcon demo. It's not known which rune granted this bonus.


Development

This skill started off as Iron Skin but the developers wanted a more attractive visual, and a snazzy sounding name, and it evolved into Diamond Skin.
