Vigilance
Vigilance is a legendary polearm that can be found in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. This item can be found and equipped by any class, though the legendary affix is only of use to the Monk, so it drops and is equipped chiefly by that class
The Smart Drop system ensures that this weapon will usually roll with the mainstat appropriate to the class that finds it.
Vigilance properties[edit | edit source]
This item has a defensive legendary affix that will occasionally auto-cast the base version of the Monk's Inner Sanctuary skill. This only works for the Monk -- other classes do not get that skill for free, but it can be a helpful defensive buff. Note that Inner Sanctuary only creates a safe space on the ground, and the effect does not travel with the Monk, so this is not very useful for Monks who move constantly, such as with Tempest Rush or Dashing Strike.
