Board Walkers database description.

Board Walkers are crafted legendary boots that can only be created in Reaper of Souls.

To create these, find the Plan: Board Walkers, which can be dropped randomly by any level 70 target, and teach it to the Blacksmith.

Board Walkers properties

The only inherent stat on these boots is +10-12% Movement Speed. These boots will roll higher stat values than Rare boots, but numerous other legendary, set, and crafted set boots have better potential bonuses, including legendary affixes making Board Walkers a good, but not great, piece of end game gear.

Well worn, but still sturdy, these boots look as if they have traveled all the lands of Sanctuary many times over.

Crafting

Once a player finds the randomly-dropped recipe, Plan: Board Walkers, and teaches it to the Blacksmith, the item can be created by any character on that account. This item always has a lvl 70 requirement, no matter what level character crafts it. The Smart Loot system means that this item will usually roll with a mainstat and/or +skill damage bonus appropriate to the class of the character that creates it.

• 2 Forgotten Soul

Patch 2.0.6 controversially[1] removed Legendary Materials, which changed the crafting costs for every level 70 RoS recipe. Prior to that patch Board Walkers required one Cartographer's Toolkit.

Legendary Materials were controversially[2] removed in Patch 2.0.6. The following is archived for posterity.

The Cartographer's Toolkit legendary material can only be dropped by Unique (purple) Ghouls. (The fast moving melee type.) Bounty -- Grimsmack, Act 1, Festering Woods. Bounty, Event -- Enkidu. Act 1, Festering Woods. Spawns as part of the Eternal War event. Bounty, Event -- Lavarinth, Act 3, Rakkis Crossing. Spawns as part of the Blaze of Glory event. Gholash, Act 3, Tower of the Damned Level 1.
