The Oculus.

The Oculus is a legendary source that can be found in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. This item can only be equipped by the Wizard, and will only very rarely drop for any other class.

The Smart Drop system ensures that Sources will usually roll with Intelligence, or at least never roll with Dexterity or Strength.


The Oculus properties[edit | edit source]

This item is very Teleport-themed, with a reduction to Teleport cooldown, plus a legendary affix that can reset the cooldown entirely. This makes it more of a novelty item than an essential end game tool, though.

  • +(626-750) Intelligence
  • Critical Hits grant (3-4) Arcane Power
  • Reduces cooldown of Teleport by (1-4) seconds.
  • +1 random primary affix

Secondary Affixes:

  • Taking damage has up to a (15-20)% chance to reset
    the cooldown on Teleport.
  • +1 random secondary affix

This orb was purported to be the eye of a giant, magical sea
creature, but it was actually painstakingly crafted, layer upon
layer, by the grand mage Ethad five hundred years before the time
of the Horadrim.
