Pride's Fall.

Pride's Fall is a legendary helm that can be found in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. This item can be found and equipped by any class, though the special bonus is most useful to a few odd builds.

This item can only be found from Act Three Horadric Caches and nowhere else.

The Smart Drop system ensures that this helm will usually roll with the mainstat appropriate to the class that finds it. Helms can roll with +skill bonuses as well, and these will also usually get Smart Loot'ed to appropriate skills for your class.

Pride's Fall properties[edit | edit source]

This helm's legendary affix is an odd one, granting a big reduction in resource costs, but only after not taking damage for 5 seconds. It's possible for ranged attackers to retain that cost buff most of the time, especially if they hang back in a multiplayer game. The bonus also works well for classes that have high resource cost abilities that they can dump out at the start of a battle, after building up the buff moving between enemy groups.

Since the helm rolls with mainstat, vitality, and crit chance inherently, it's not possible to get a socket and +skill damage without rolling one and then enchanting another affix (vitality, for characters after the highest DPS) else.

  • All stats listed in the database scale up to the level of this item when dropped.
