Exarian is a legendary sword that can be found in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. This item can be found and equipped by any class, though melee weapons are very seldom equipped by Demon Hunters.

The Smart Drop system ensures that this sword will usually roll with the mainstat appropriate to the class that finds it.

Exarian propertiesEdit

This item does not have a legendary affix, but the inherent bonus to critical hit damage is unusual on a weapon and elevates the DPS above many other legendary weapons.

In days long past, the now-ruined city of Khamhalla was ruled by a wise nephalem king. The symbol of his authority was the sword Exarian, gifted to him by the Lady of Light. Legend has it that, though betrayed and gravely wounded during Khamhalla's fall, the king did not die, but was borne away across the sea to return when Sanctuary needs him again. The reappearance of Exarian heralds his return.
