Skelon's Deceit

Skelon's Deceit are crafted legendary pants that can only be created in Reaper of Souls. This item requires the Skelon's Dice, one of the legendary materials for each one crafted.

To create these, find the Plan: Skelon's Deceit, which can be randomly dropped randomly by any level 70 target, and teach the plan to the Blacksmith.

Skelon's Dice pants

These pants have no inherent stats and no legendary property. The can roll with higher numbers than rare shoulders, but the lack of any special modifiers means that numerous legendary and crafted set pants will offer better bonuses for the end game.

Crafting

Once a player finds the randomly-dropped Plan and teaches it to the Blacksmith, the item can be created by any character on that account. This item always has a lvl 70 requirement, no matter what level character crafts it. The Smart Loot system means that this item will usually roll with a mainstat and/or +skill damage bonus appropriate to the class of the character that creates it.

Legendary Material

The required legendary material, Skelon's Deceit is obtained only from Unique (purple) Oppressors and Warscarred Ravagers. They are the huge winged melee fighting demons, seen almost exclusively in Act Five.

• Bounty -- Torchlighter, Act 4, Gardens of Hope first tier.
• Quest -- Vekriss, Act 5, Unearthed Ruins Level 2. (End boss of Covetous Shen's quest, The Jewel of Dirgest. Can only be done once, without Reset Quests.
• Fixed -- Belphegor, Act 5, Path of War. Story Mode only, encountered near the beginning of The Battlefields of Eternity quest.
• Event -- Korchoroth, Act 5, Battlefields of Eternity. (Boss of the Timeless Prison event.)
• Event -- Emikdeva, Act 5, The Crag of Eternity off of the Battlefields of Eternity. Part of The Demonic Prisoner event.
• Event -- Volux the Forgotten, Act 5, The Crag of Eternity area off of the Battlefields of Eternity, where he spawns as part of The War That Time Forgot event.
• Event -- Keeper Hashemel, Act 5, Infested Ruins area off of the Battlefields of Eternity. (Spawns during The Cursed Crystals event.
• Borgoth, Act 5, Realm of the Banished area via the Battlefields of Eternity.
