Demon Claw
Demon Claw is a crafted legendary Fist that can only be created in Reaper of Souls. This item requires a Bloody Pincer, one of the legendary materials for each item crafted.
To create this item, find the Plan: Demon Claw, which can be randomly dropped randomly by any level 70 target, and teach the plan to the Blacksmith. Once learned by the smith, any character on your account can make as many of these as you can afford to create, though only the Monk can equip it.
Demon Claw stats
This Fist has no inherent bonuses and no legendary affix, so while it's useful as an upgrade from a rare weapon, a player should look to find a legendary weapon with a better legendary property, long term.

Crafting
Once a player finds the randomly-dropped plan and teaches it to the Blacksmith, the item can be created by any character on that account. This item always has a lvl 70 requirement, no matter what level character crafts it. The Smart Loot system means that this item will usually roll with a mainstat and/or +skill damage bonus appropriate to the class of the character that creates it.

Legendary Material
The required legendary material, [[Bloody Pincer] which can only be obtained from Unique (purple) Scorpions and Scarab Beetles. The scorpions are found throughout Act Three, and the Scarabs are found in the Corvus dungeons in Act Five.

Legendary materials drop more often on higher difficulty levels. Their drop rate was tripled in Patch 2.0.4 shortly after Reaper of Souls' release, making them all much easier to find. The figures are the percent chance the legendary material (or Deaths Breath will be dropped by a valid source. All legendary materials except Adventurer's Journals and Griswold's Scribblings can only be dropped by Unique (purple) bosses of a certain type. See the legendary materials article for full details.
