Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac
Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac is a legendary ring that can be found in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. This item can be found and equipped by any class.
The Smart Drop system ensures that this ring will usually roll with the mainstat appropriate to the class that finds it. Rings are generally considered offensive items, and most players insist on Critical hit Chance, plus other trifecta stats and a mainstat.

Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac properties
This item does not have a legendary affix, but is fairly popular due to the guaranteed bonus to all attributes and All Resistance, plus two random primary affixes. The database entry isn't clear, but this item at level 70 always rolls with 150-170 to all 4 attributes, 91-100 to All Res, plus two other random primary affixes. One of these (or both) is often mainstat or vit, which adds to the 150-170 to that property from the inherent affix.
The inherent indestructible secondary affix is counted as a third secondary property.

Trivia
This item is inspired by and modeled after the famous "obzod" ring from Diablo 1, and the lore makes that reference clearly. The Diablo 1 item was not a unique ring, but simply a magical ring with "obsidian" (+30-40% to all Resistances) for the prefix and "of the zodiac" (+16-20 to all attributes) for the suffix. The Reaper of Souls version does a nice job incorporating those bonuses, and adding random properties to them. This item is far from the most powerful ring in the game, as it was in Diablo 1, mostly since +to all attributes isn't such a valuable property in Diablo 3. But at least the theme is correct.
That wasn't always the case, and when this item was first previewed leading up to Diablo 3 in 2011, its inherent properties were +damage, +vitality, +2 random properties, bonuses that had nothing to do with the Diablo 1 item it was named after. The developers heard this complaint and improved the item thematically, showing it off with new, more-relevant affixes at a Blizzcon 2011 panel.[1]
Reaper of Souls Enchanting Bug
There was a bug with this item when Enchanting first went live. The item allowed players to select any of the individual attribute bonuses to enchant, even though they were all part of the same special attribute that added to all stats. Thus players were surprised when they tried to turn the unwanted Strength or Dexterity or Intelligence into something new, and found all of the attribute bonuses vanished. [2]
The bug was fixed in a subsequent patch, in May 2014.
