Diamond gems are no longer in the Diablo 3.
Diamonds are one of the six types of gems found in Diablo III.
The bonuses provided by Diamonds are not yet known. They will almost certainly be different than the bonuses found on Diamonds in Diablo II, since all other known Diablo III gems differ from their Diablo II versions.
Diablo II Diamonds
Though Diamonds were found in Diablo II, their stats are not the same as Diamonds in Diablo III.
In Diablo II, Sapphires granted:
- Weapons: +Damage vs. Undead.
- Helms & Armor: +Attack Rating.
- Shields: +to all Resistances.
