Mojos are Witch Doctor items, held in the off-hand and used with one-handed weapons. They are items, but can not be used as weapons or shields; they are purely there for the bonus stats, almost like another ring or amulet.
Mojos are akin to the orbs used by Wizards in Diablo III.
Not much is known of the various stats mojos can spawn with, but ones seen thus far in the beta come with +Witch Doctor spell damage, as well as resistances, +attributes, +experience per kill, and other such offensive or general modifiers.
