Elixirs have ranks, which are represented by a number on the end, it is not known whether higher ranks will increase the effect or the duration of elixirs.

Elixirs were announced as a Diablo 3 item in 2008, but they have not been seen since 2009, were not included in Diablo 3.

Strength and Dexterity elixirs were seen in the 2008 Blizzcon demo. At that time, those elixirs provided a 300 second boost to that one attribute.

A Vitality and a Willpower elixir were seen to drop during the 2008 WWI gameplay trailer.


Elixirs had ranks, which were represented by a Roman Numeral notation at the end of the name. It's not known if higher level elixirs increased the duration, effect, or both.
