Elixirs were announced as a Diablo 3 item in 2008, but they have not been seen since 2009, were not included in Diablo 3.

Strength and Dexterity elixirs were seen in the 2008 Blizzcon demo. At that time, those elixirs provided a 300 second boost to that one attribute.


Vit elixir.

A Vitality and a Willpower elixir were seen to drop during the 2008 WWI gameplay trailer.


Elixirs had ranks, which were represented by a Roman Numeral notation at the end of the name. It's not known if higher level elixirs increased the duration, effect, or both.
