Goldskin is a legendary chest armor that can be found in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. This item can be found and equipped by any class.
The Smart Drop system ensures that this chest armor will usually roll with the mainstat appropriate to the class that finds it. Chest Armor can roll with +skill bonuses as well, and these will also usually get Smart Loot'ed to appropriate skills for your class.
Goldskin properties[edit | edit source]
This item gives lots of extra gold, with 100% Gold Find as a secondary affix, and then the legendary affix making monsters drop gold when hit. It doesn't exactly turn enemies into Treasure Goblins and the effect can be hard to see, but during longer battles players should notice gold stacks squirting out of enemies semi-regularly.
As a side note, this armor is ghastly in coloration, appearing as a blinding neon yellow that seems almost designed to drive even the least appearance-minded player to try out some Armor Dyes.
