Halcyon's Ascent is a legendary amulet that can be found in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. This item can be found and equipped by any class.

The Smart Drop system ensures that this amulet will usually roll with the mainstat appropriate to the class that finds it.

Halcyon's Ascent properties

This item has a very curious legendary affix, which causes nearby enemies to stop in place and start jumping. This is good for a laugh and makes them quite easy to kill, but it's not anywhere near as powerful as many other legendary bonuses, and the inherent primary affixes on this amulet are powerful, but very different than the trifecta stats usually sought on Amulets.

When you use Archon, you mesmerize nearby enemies with your skill, causing them to jump uncontrollably for 6–8 seconds. When you use Big Bad Voodoo, you mesmerize nearby enemies with your skill, causing them to jump uncontrollably for 6–8 seconds. When you use Epiphany, you mesmerize nearby enemies with your skill, causing them to jump uncontrollably for 6–8 seconds. Deadmou5 logo.

This amulet is inspired by the electronic DJ DeadMou5, with the icon for the amulet nearly identical to his dead mouse logo. And of course the audience is known to jump uncontrollably when cometh the drop.
