Skill Design[edit | edit source]

Hopefully soon to be revealed, but the wording of the skill is enough to fuel some speculation. It is described as "mechanical contraptions" whereas Spike Trap is clearly labeled as a trap. As it is a trap, there are only a certain number of them allowed in the playing field at any time. Perhaps the wording of Shock Spike is written so as to avoid it being a trap with such limitations placed on it.

Skill Rank Table[edit | edit source]

  • Rank 1: Place up to X mechanical contraptions on the ground. The contraptions spin and deal X-X damage to all nearby enemies. The contraptions also generate sawblades between them that deal damage to enemies in their path.

Trait Synergies[edit | edit source]

Skill Rune Effects[edit | edit source]

  • No rune effects for Shock Spike are known.

Development[edit | edit source]

Shock Spike was first revealed at BlizzCon 2010 where it could be seen in the Demon Hunter's skill pane.
