Skill Design

This skill first appeared at BlizzCon 2010. There are currently no visuals available for the skill, and no reports on it from demo players. It was revealed in the skill tree. This is the second of two available healing spells to the Monk, the other being a direct-heal called Circle of Wrath.

This is the first aura available to the Monk. Auras operate differently than in Diablo II where they are not a passive skill that simply require being the chosen skill on the hotbar. Auras in Diablo III are active skills that need to be casted, and they offer a short-duration bonus upon casting that varies depending on the aura. It is unknown how long the duration of the aura is, if it needs to be re-casted to keep the effect, and if there are any cooldowns.

It is also currently unknown if there is a base health regeneration rate, or if this aura is one of the ways to have a regeneration rate to begin with. The prior entries to the Diablo series did not offer health regeneration outside of item modifiers.

Skill Rank Table

  • Rank 1: Bestows the Monk and nearby allies with a holy aura that increases health regeneration by X health per second. When activated, temporarily boosts health regeneration to X health per second for X seconds.

Skill Rune Effects
