Double Strike
Double Strike is a tier II skill in the Berserker Skill Tree, which gives the barbarian a chance to swing both weapons. It is the prerequisite of Slashing Strike.

Double Strike in Diablo 3 gives the Barbarian the chance to swing both weapons at once, it means that when the chance activates (procs), you swing one of your weapons and then swing your other weapon. If we understand the term "swing" correctly, then it works like the normal attack, and has a chance to miss, to be blocked, to be parried, to use effects on the weapon (Ice for example), if such exist and to deal damage somewhere between the minimum and the maximum.
Skill Design
Double Strike is passive, it becomes activated from the moment you spend a skill point into it. This skill is superb for duel wielding Barbarians of any character builds (as long as they duel wield). It is much more beneficial if the duel wielded weapons are high damaging instead of fast.

Development
Double Strike was seen in every Diablo 3 game demo to date, and was recently updated, judging from the latest demo. An earlier version of this skill had a much lower chance to proc the double swing.
