This skill is only usable if you have the Berserker State buff on you. It is unknown why the Berserker State buff is required in the first place, probably to limit its use. The dodge chance increase is well worth the points to make Berserker Barbarians better at tanking.
Skill Design
Onslaught provides a crit and dodge chance increase, and when combined with Berserker state, the Barbarian will become better at everything. This skill really brings out the whole theme of the Berserker Skill Tree, to make the Barbarian stronger with buffs. Barbarian's who will spend skill points into this skill will be limited to the duration and to the chance of Berserker State activating (procing). It is assumed that at max rank, this skill coupled with Berserker State and other skills in the tree, will be worth the points spent into them.

Development
Onslaught was seen in every Diablo 3 game demo to date, and was reiterated drastically, judging from the latest demo. The old onslaught drained fury whilst giving the Barbarian an attack speed bonus, it lasted until the duration ended or until fury was used up.
