Firebomb is one of the Witch Doctor skills. It's in the 5th tier and requires Clvl 14 to use.
This skill, formerly known as Skull of Flame, is a projectile that's thrown like a grenade. It bursts upon impact, dealing fire damage to the target and anything in the immediate vicinity.

The Witch Doctor lobs a burning skull filled with combustibles at his enemies, which explodes violently when it breaks upon them.
Skill Design
The first active damaging skill in the Voodoo Skill Tree, which, has even more active damaging skills. Quite useful, spending 5 skill points into it won't be a waste, it has good damage and a nice range and a very small cooldown. It can be enhanced with Skill Runes, essentially changing the skill in some way or another.

Runestone Effects
Several of the runestone effects are known:
- Alabaster rune: Unknown.
- Crimson rune: The firebomb explodes with a much larger blast, sending burning shards flying in all directions. These spread fields of flame, dealing AoE damage to enemies in the vicinity.
- Golden rune: Unknown. Probably lower mana cost per Firebomb.
- Indigo rune: Instead of exploding upon initial contact with solid objects, the Firebomb bounces (more bounces come from higher level runes). This spreads fire damage over a longer path.
- Obsidian rune: Unknown.
Development
Skull of Flame was first introduced in the WWI 2008 gameplay demo. Its function and graphics have not changed noticeably since then, though the name was originally Fire Bomb, and the skill was originally located in the Voodoo Skill Tree.
