This skill was removed from the game prior to the press event of July 2011. This is archived for future curiosity and reference. This page is not to be updated with current info; see the Monk skills page for current skill information.

Circle of Wrath is a Monk Tier 2 skill unlocked at level 3. The Monk damages enemies around him, while also healing himself and his allies.
This is one of two healing abilities available to the Monk.

Skill Design[edit | edit source]

This skill first appeared at BlizzCon 2010; in the demo, it was one of the skills the Monk already had points in. There are currently no visuals available for the skill.

Skill Rank Table[edit | edit source]

  • Rank 2: Creates a blast of holy energy that heals the Monk and nearby allies for 38-68 health and damages enemies for 15-30 holy damage. Costs 25 Spirit.

Synergies[edit | edit source]

Some Monk traits grant bonuses to this skill.

  • Healer: Increases amount of health healed by healing skills.

Note: The current trait list is very out-of-date and will no doubt be overhauled before game release.

Skill Rune Effects[edit | edit source]

  • No rune effects for Circle of Wrath are known.

Development[edit | edit source]

Circle of Wrath was first revealed at BlizzCon 2010. Flux reported on using this skill:[1]

At level 2 in the early going, it was fairly devastating. Almost all regular monsters would die in one blast of this, so I soon learned to save it for use when I was in range of at least half a dozen enemies. Just the damage from it was impressive and time-saving, but the fact that it healed as well was just silly. I thought it was overpowered in practice, since I was never below 80% hit points with my Monk, thanks entirely to this skill. (And the fact that I killed all of the monsters before they had a chance to do much more than raise their crude implements.)
