Skill Design

Hopefully soon to be revealed, but the wording of the skill is enough to fuel some speculation. It is described as "mechanical contraptions" whereas Spike Trap is clearly labeled as a trap. As it is a trap, there are only a certain number of them allowed in the playing field at any time. Perhaps the wording of Shock Spike is written so as to avoid it being a trap with such limitations placed on it.


Skill Rank Table

Rank: 1/5 Place up to X mechanical contraptions on the ground. The contraptions spin and deal X-X damage to all nearby enemies. The contraptions also generate sawblades between them that deal damage to enemies in their path.

This skill was first revealed at BlizzCon 2010 as could be seen in the Demon Hunter's skill pane.

Graphics

This skill hasn't been seen in-game, but knowing Blizzard, it involves something purple and a lot of blood.
