The first active damaging skill in the Voodoo Skill Tree, which, has even more active damaging skills. Quite useful, spending 5 skill points into it won't be a waste, it has good damage and a nice range and a very small cooldown. It can be enhanced with Skill Runes, essentially changing the skill in some way or another.

Skill Rune Effects

  • Hydra Rune: Instead of exploding upon initial contact with solid objects, it will bounce a few times, exploding a little each time it hits the ground.
  • Force Rune: When it explodes, it sends burning shards flying around the area, landing and causing fire damage to enemies who stand on them.

Development

Skull of Flame was first introduces in the WWI 2008 gameplay demo, and besides jumping from the Spirit Skill Tree to the Voodoo Skill Tree, has not changed very much.
