Notes of Urik the Seer are all found in the Cave of the Moon Clan which is in the Southern Highlands. You do not need to be on a particular quest in order to find the satchels that hold them. There is no quest that requires you to go to the cave.
Only one of your characters needs to find the journal for you to be credited with it.
To find out which journals you have found so far go to your Achievements list (press Y) and check:
- Campaign > Act I > A Quick Study
