Robert Marks is the author of the Diablo novella, Demonsbane, (2000). This is his only official work in affiliation with Blizzard.
Prior to that publishing credit, Marks was known as Garwulf, the author of Garwulf's Corner, a popular, bi-weekly gaming column published on fansite Diabloii.net from 2000-2002.
Marks is a graduate student of War Studies Program at the Royal Military College of Canada, and a native of Ontario. He has written other works outside of the Diablo universe, including an EverQuest companion guide to lore[1].
