The Sewers of Caldeum sit underneath the City of Caldeum. You first encounter them on the Unexpected Allies quest on your hunt for Adria. It's a small level with nothing of consequence other than a piece of lore necessary for an achievement (details below).

Special Monsters found in Sewers of Caldeum[edit | edit source]
The following Superunique monsters can but might not always appear in Sewers of Caldeum:
- Moontooth Dreadshark - A Sand Shark.
- Ningish - A Serpent Magus
- Raziel - A Ghost who pops out of an Ancient Chest that Chiman asks you to open.
Notable NPCs[edit | edit source]
- Abheek - He's with Chiman and they both ask you to open the Ancient Chest.
- Chiman - He triggers a mini adventure to open an Ancient Chest which turns out to contain Raziel, a superunique ghost.
- Leah - Escorts you as you seek out her mother, Adria.
Checkpoints[edit | edit source]
Checkpoints are respawn points. Players who die appear back at the last checkpoint they reached. Players can also leave the game and resume at the last checkpoint at a later date. In effect they are a 'save game' feature. The following Checkpoints appear in Sewers of Caldeum

Waypoints are special plates on the ground that form a network of jump points allowing players to instantly teleport between them. The nearest waypoint for Sewers of Caldeum appears just inside the entrance.
