The Hermit's Ravings are in a dusty bag found laying on the ground somewhere within the Caverns of Araneae near Wortham. They hail from the mind of the Crazed Hermit who you run into a couple of times.
It doesn't matter which quest you are on.
Only one of your characters needs to find the journal for you to be credited with it.
To find out which journals you have found so far go to your Achievements list (press Y) and check:
