Crawling through the haunted tombs of the Borderlands, Tomb Vipers and their relatives, the Serpent Magus, wait for foolish adventurers to enter their dark domain. These beings can temporarily become invisible to surprise their enemies. This invisibility is temporary because Tomb vipers will become visible while attacking. Tomb Vipers and the Serpent Magus first appeared in Act Two of Diablo 2 in the Claw Viper temple.
