Walking Corpses are a larger type of Zombie, that can take more punishment before being destroyed. Walking Corpses are #REDIRECT monsters classified as undead. Like other zombies, Walking Corpses move very slowly and without much urgency. They can be avoided fairly easily, or simply outrun. They do not use weapons or spells, and are purely melee fighters. Despite their liabilities, they are not simply shambling experience pots; they can deal serious damage, especially in large groups.<br><br>==Diablo III Monster==<div style="clear:both;"></div>These slow moving zombies are a bit larger than the base model zombie, and can presumably take a bit more damage. Walking corpses have a unique talent, in that upon death they sometimes break in half, but continue the battle as their upper bodies snap off and become a Crawling Torso.  ===Spells and Abilities===* Spawn Crawling TorsoThe #Walking Corpse can on death spawn a Crawling Torso, if enough damage was not dealt to it. It's essentially the original monster's upper body that continues the hunt for the flesh of the living.  <!--===Known X Types===Use on a "family" monster article.* Can be used in "Goatman" or the like* Display the different types of enemies, like weapon/equipment carried, or behaviour difference.* Example: Warrior, Archer, Mage--> <!--===Known Subtypes===Use on a a "family" monster article, or a "sub-family" monster article.* Can be used in "Goatman" or the like* Can be used in "Goatman Shaman" or the like* Use for things like clan/colouring of same type of enemy* Example: Moon Clan, Blood Clan, Death Clan-->  ===Related Monsters===* Zombie* Crawling Torso* Wretched Mother <!--===Famous Monsters===List any "character" monster, such as King Leoric for skeletons and the Butcher for Overlords.-->  ==Background==Since the Walking Corpse essentially is a Zombie, it also has the same background lore as a Zombie.* Zombie Lore <!--==Diablo I Monster==No monster like the PAGENAME is seen in Diablo I. Add this section if you need to discuss Diablo I game monsters of the same name/type.--> <!--==Diablo II Monster==No monster like the PAGENAME is seen in Diablo II. Add this section if you need to discuss Diablo II game monsters of the same name/type.--> <!--==Development==Notes from development of monster.
