The followers in Diablo III are much more restricted in what they can equip from what we've seen in the mercenaries in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.
The Enchantress is able to equip two-handed [[axe]]s, two-handed [[mace]]s, two-handed [[stave]]s, two-handed [[sword]]s, two [[ring]]s, one [[amulet]] and a Enchantress specific item called [[Enchantress_Focuses|Enchantress Focuses]]at level 21. She appears to be brandishing two-handed [[staff]] or a [[wand]] and a [[Orb]] in more than one screenshot.
