No specific stats or names of swords have been released yet, but a full listing will be compiled as soon as the information is made available.
It seems that swords will not be a very common item in Diablo III: [[Barbarian]]s seem more tuned towards [[axes]] or [[hammers]], while [[Monk]]s, [[Wizard]]s, and [[Witch Doctor]]s are not likely to use swords much, if at all.
==1H vs. 2H==Swords are found on one-handed and two-handed types in Diablo III. [[Barbarian]]s can not use 2H swords in one hand at a lower damage level, as they could in Diablo II. [[Shield]]s do not seem to be as powerful in Diablo III as they were in Diablo II, so it's possible that two-handed swords will be more viable weapon choices this time around.  ==Class Eligibility== Which characters can equip which types of swords remains and open question. During much of the early development, the mage characters, [[Wizards]] and [[Witch Doctors]] could not use two-handed swords. This seems to have changed in mid-2010, but there may still be some limitations. * See the [[Class-Specific Weapons]] page for more details.   [[File:Swords-blacksmith1.jpg|center|frame|Swords displayed near the [[Blacksmith]]'s wagon, in the [[CararvanCaravan]] area.]]
