Background

Brutal Beasts are a fan monster created by Butch Audacity. These creatures roam the planes of hell, consuming smaller demons and various minor monsters. Greater demons, like Diablo, will poke out their eyes and place spikes in their tails and tongues. This causes the beasts to be in constant pain but enables the greater demons to control them. Brual Beasts are immune to illusions since they rely on smell and hearing. Small pterodactyl-like imps called Harrier Imps live in symbiosis with these great monsters. These imps ride on the beast's back, leaving when searching and harassing potential prey. The imp's call lures the Brutal Beast to their potential food source. Best way to describe a Brutal Beast is a postosuchus [1] (prehistoric dinosaur-like animal) blessed with a cenobite's fashion sensibilities.
