Festering Woods

The Festering Woods are located within Act I. You first come across it after you are sent there by Alaric who stands in the Drowned Temple outside area next to the woods. He will send you on a quest to retrieve two keys in The Broken Blade quest.

CheckpointsEdit

Checkpoints are respawn points. Players who die appear back at the last checkpoint they reached. Players can also leave the game and resume at the last checkpoint at a later date. In effect they are a 'save game' feature. The following Checkpoints appear in Festering Woods


WaypointEdit

Waypoints are special plates on the ground that form a network of jump points allowing players to instantly teleport between them. The nearest waypoint for Festering Woods appears in one of three locations running up the centre of the map.
