Nine Toads, "Terror of the Borderlands" is a superunique Zombie Dog that will appear in the Desolate Sands (map) of Act II. It is accompanied by nine toads, although these do not follow their master if it moves away from the encounter zone. Nine Toads uses the following attack modifiers: Jailer, Plagued. It can also throw balls of poisonous stuff on you. Nine Toads drops The Clipper. There is a double reference to the science fiction first-person shooter game Borderlands and its first boss Nine Toes, who drops an edged pistol called The Clipper with the exact same item description.
