Checkpoints
Checkpoints are respawn points. Players who die appear back at the last checkpoint they reached. Players can also leave the game and resume at the last checkpoint at a later date. In effect they are a 'save game' feature. The following Checkpoints appear in Drowned Temple
- After activating the Waypoint just before the Drowned Temple whilst on The Broken Blade quest.
- Just across the bridge that Alaric raises for you from the Drowned Temple to The Festering Woods on The Broken Blade quest.
- Just back across the bridge from The Festering Woods to the Drowned Temple once you have collected the Beacons on The Broken Blade quest.
- After killing the unique brothers in the Drowned Temple
- After retrieving the Glowing Sword Shard in the Drowned Temple on The Broken Blade quest.
Waypoint
Waypoints are special plates on the ground that form a network of jump points allowing players to instantly teleport between them. The nearest waypoint for Drowned Temple appears just at the top of the steps down to the Temple is a Waypoint.
