Arsect the Venomous is a superunique Spider that appears in the Caverns of Araneae near Wortham in Act I.
He'll usually be guarding a cocooned victim who you can free after killing Arsect. It is (as far as has been reported) a Treasure Goblin of some form.

His attack is mainly melee but he also has 'Web Spit which shoots a web at you which, if you walk through it, will slow you down.
